The Flying Detective — Fawcett's bulletproof hero from the Golden Age.

Bulletman debuted in Master Comics #7 (1941) before getting his own title from Fawcett Comics. Jim Barr, a police chemist, invented a gravity-regulating helmet that allowed him to fly and deflect bullets — becoming the Flying Detective. His partner Bulletgirl joined him making them one of comics first crime-fighting duos. Fawcett published 16 issues before cancellation in 1946.
