Jackpot Comics 003

Description

MLJ's superhero anthology — from the publisher that became Archie Comics.

Jackpot Comics ran for 9 issues (1941–1943) from MLJ Comics, featuring Steel Sterling (the Man of Steel — predating DC's use of that phrase for Superman), Mr. Justice, and the Black Hood. MLJ's superhero titles are historically significant as the publisher that later became Archie Comics, and these early superhero issues are genuine Golden Age rarities.
