Wonder Comics 001

Description

The Superman clone DC sued into cancellation after just ONE issue (1939).

Wonder Comics #1 (1939) from Nedor Publications featured Wonder Man — one of the very first Superman-inspired heroes in comics. DC Comics immediately sued, forcing Nedor to cancel Wonder Man after just one issue. That makes Wonder Comics #1 one of the most historically significant single issues in all of Golden Age comics — a one-shot that shows exactly how the superhero genre exploded in 1939.
